Clearwater Forest

Board of Directors

The Clearwater Forest Board of Directors is comprised of 15 individuals.
Ten members are nominated by the five governing bodies, with five additional members
nominated by the Clearwater Board.

Keith Beveridge

Keith has been coming to Clearwater for nearly 20 years. Both of his daughters attended
Summer Camp, and he has served on several trade organization boards. Keith is excited to
help Clearwater continue to grow and flourish.

Vice President · At-Large

Jon Kirschhoffer

Jon’s connection to Clearwater spans almost 40 years. He led the sailing program for
27 years and has served two prior terms on the board, including Board Chair. He is
excited to return in support of Clearwater’s future.

Andy Davis

Andy’s passion for Clearwater began during his son’s early camp years. He believes
deeply in the power of temporary Christian community and brings energy and creativity
to board leadership.

Treasurer · Presbytery of Northern Waters

Paul Rigstad

Paul has valued Bible camp experiences since childhood. He believes Clearwater offers
sacred space for spiritual renewal and is excited to contribute his gifts as treasurer.

Sue Rutford

Sue has been part of Clearwater Forest for nearly four decades as a retreat participant,
parent, and Chrysalis attendee. She is passionate about supporting this special place.

Board Members

Jim Cochrane

Former camper, counselor, and staff member, Jim now serves as a transitional pastor
and brings deep experience in congregational leadership.

Lenae Wordes

Lenae believes strongly in Clearwater’s ability to shape lives and brings communication
expertise and a passion for youth ministry.

Pete Mann (New in 2025)

Pete and his spouse Diana live on Lake Superior’s south shore and bring experience from
other Presbyterian camp communities.

Rachel Schmidt (New in 2025)

Rachel is a licensed social worker and lifelong camper who values sharing Clearwater’s
impact with families and churches.

Casey Chapman

Casey serves as both a lawyer and lay pastor and brings a long-standing family connection
to Clearwater Forest.

Jill Boeyink

Jill brings 30 years of experience in Christian education and a strong commitment to
faith formation through camp ministry.

Candace Adams (New in 2025)

Candace believes Clearwater provides sacred opportunities for spiritual growth and is
excited to promote this ministry.

Gary Perkins · Finance Chair

Gary brings decades of financial experience and a deep personal connection to Clearwater
Lake and Forest.

Jack Baas

Jack brings experience in church leadership and a commitment to growing Clearwater’s
programs and future initiatives.

Rev. Anna Kendig Flores

Rev. Flores is a teaching elder and Antiracism Coordinator with extensive experience in
chaplaincy, mental health, and ethics.
