Clearwater is not just for summer camp! Take advantage of all the opportunities Clearwater has to offer year round by joining a retreat or planning your own. We offer the hermitage and Woodchuck cabins for year-round solo and couples retreats. And then of course there is Leaning Tree and Eagle lodges and the recently renovated Carriage House where you can host larger groups at once.
Plan your own adult retreat for a church group, corporate group, as a couple or solo. We offer the hermitage and Woodchuck cabins for year-round solo and couples retreats. Leaning Tree and Eagle lodges are excellent spaces for larger groups, and the recently renovated Carriage House is a perfect place for a small group retreat.
Catch a Vision
As the first retreat of it’s kind at Clearwater, Catch a Vision will focus on the ways in which each organization/church/context or individual can find authentic connection between the efforts and projects they are already pursuing and ways that their commitments to anti-racist perspectives and action can deepen and empower those efforts on a new level. Using worship, music, and group discussions, each participant will leave with a vision statement that empowers their own work going forward.
Anna Kendig Flores is a teaching elder, a pastor with a background in the world of hospital chaplaincy, mental health, addiction, and ethics. She brings these perspectives to her anti-racism efforts, incorporating spiritual practice with a holistic approach to “anti-racist living” that builds wholeness in communities from the inside-out. In sabbath time, she can be found pursuing her favorite spiritual practice of mountain biking.
Clearwater Chrysalis is a balanced, faith-building program at Clearwater Forest. We welcome adult women from all Christian traditions. Our vision is to nourish and support the body, mind and spirit in community with other women.
The first Clearwater Chrysalis in 1984 featured speakers, exercise classes, Bible study, and workshops. Chrysalis has been held every summer since and an annual winter gathering since 1990.
Join us for a weekend of camp in the wintertime! Participate in all of your favorite camp activities, reconnect with camp friends and stay in your home-away-from-home during the winter.
Specifically designed for 6th – 12th grade campers. All snow campers and chaperones will be housed in Eagle Lodge.

An endowment was created in early 2012 to support Spiritual Renewal at Clearwater Forest. Now more than ever, there is the need for places to come away to and draw strength and rejuvenation from time in God’s creation, with the Creator.
We invite you to consider a personal retreat- for 2 hours or 2 days or 2 weeks- at Clearwater Forest. Stay in the Hermitage, paddle beautiful Clearwater Lake, read, hike, pray, rest, walk the Labyrinth… we can provide other suggestions too.
Please contact the camp office today to put your spiritual renewal time on our calendar and yours. It is important!
But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
An ancient meditative practice, walking the labyrinth provides clarity of mind, a peaceful setting to hear God’s voice and the opportunity to unwind from life’s daily stresses and pressures. It is not a maze; there is one way in and out. The labyrinth at Clearwater Forest is patterned after the medieval design in the floor of Chartres Cathedral in France. Using rocks from the forest and lake, staff painstakingly built the labyrinth.
Plan your own youth group retreat for a church or community group. We offer Leaning Tree and Eagle lodges for larger groups, and the recently renovated Carriage House is the perfect intimate setting for a small group retreat.
