    history

Built in 1924 by John Savage, Eagle Lodge is a stately English stone manor home on the edge of Clearwater Lake. Comfortable and welcoming, the lodge is the perfect setting for a small retreat group, family reunion or gathering of friends. It may also serve as a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding!

    description

The lodge has sleeping space for up to 35 people with a combination of queen, double and single beds throughout the nine bedrooms. A second floor guest lounge with three pull-out sofas may serve as a sleeping area if needed.

Other features include seven bathrooms, a great room, dining room, full y equipped kitchen and two glass-enclosed heated porches for sitting. The great room has a wood burning fireplace, baby grand piano, library, games and TV/DVD player. The dining room seats 25 and the lawn has 2 stone patios with outdoor seating.

    Eagle's Nest

    ImageImage

The woods outside of Eagle Lodge has a new nest… and this one isn’t for the birds! Last year Jerry Brown and a group from Creative Arts raised funds and helped build a new tree deck in the woods near the lodge. The deck is a beautiful addition to our property and makes a great place for bird watching, quiet reflection and relaxation.

Over the next few years, the group has plans for continued fundraising to eventually add a handicap accessible ramp.
